We've kept the pricing of DynamiCaps constant and artificially low for many years, and we could do this for you because we were still using our stock of raw windings made for us by IMB, who went belly up years ago. But now we have to turn to new windings, made for us in the current economy, and our costs (including overhead) have basically doubled in those many intervening years (even a taco stand burrito for our cheap lunch has doubled, from $3 to $6). So here's the new pricing we need, to stay afloat to serve you.

Note: to achieve larger values, e.g. for crossovers, speaker manufacturers simply parallel plural caps, and hobbyists can do this too. For example, to achieve 22.5 uF, simply parallel 10 + 10 + 2 + .47 uF.

Note: In electronics, values such as 3.0, 5.0, and 6.0 uF are used for coupling, and in this role exact capacitance value is not important. So if you need higher voltage than 210v, simply use the nearest or next higher capacitance that does have adequate voltage rating, such as our most popular (and best sounding) values of 4.0uF/425v and 10.0uF/310v.
